Good News!

When we moved out of TVA we knew that this spot was temporary. From the beginning we were told that it was only until September. That was fine with us, it would give us 6 months of cheaper rent and we could find a new place to live. Since being home from our trip to Panama, we have been looking for a place to live, everyday checking out craigslist seeing if anything new was listed. We would see a few spots and quickly realized that as soon as we moved out of our home with the Kai family, we would be paying double in rent. Not to mention we are having so much fun with the kids in this house! We moved out of our apartment and into a home with a ready made family. We are so lucky and blessed to be in this home and a part of the family. Recently we found out that plans changed and we no longer have to move out at the end of the month! We are SO glad!

Plus we would miss these guys!

A few nights ago, we played Hide & Seek with the boys. In the 3rd or 4th round I had THE BEST hiding spot ever! It took forever for Jurell to find me, and he even had to call out "Ollie ollie oxen free". And here I was:




I'm sitting in the sink of the old kitchen upstairs that is no longer used as a kitchen but more of a storage area. I was sitting there for so long that by the end of it, my entire lower body had to be asleep! Note to self.... if you have a really good hiding spot make sure its comfortable. Pros: You feel really good about not being found even though your a "big kid" and can't fit in the good hiding spots. Cons: after a while you can't feel your legs!

3 Years Ago...

I married the boy of my dreams! We flew off into the sunset to live in paradise and enjoy our new life together. As it turns out, we are still living in paradise and still enjoying our eternal honeymoon! We are the very best of friends and as happy as can be! We live a simple life full of fun, laughter, love, and good surf!

Off to Panama for 2 weeks!!!  Sorry but i'll be MIA for a bit....  I'm sure you'll be able to go on living without me here...  Enjoy the next 2 weeks!  I know I will!!!

Things that are cool...

~ I got to watch a mama Jackson Chameleon give birth today... so cool! She's now the mama of 9 (i think).

~ I am flying out to California tonight.

~ I am all packed and ready to go.

~ I didn't even over pack (something I usually do).

~ I will get a stamp in my passport at the end of this week! My first one! I'll be crossing that one off my 101 in 1001 list (you haven't heard much about that in a long time! I'll have to go over that again because I've completed quite a few and haven't updated it yet)!

~ I get to surf all day every day for 2 weeks with my hubby, my brother, and friends! Super stoked!

~ I'm shooting my first wedding in a month! I did their engagement photos and they turned out awesome, I made a Guest Sign In album for them and expect it in the mail today!

~ My New Camera bag! I know I just got one "for christmas" but thats more for transporting gear. Its a backpack and I don't think it would look too professional to wear this backpack while i'm shooting a wedding! This one is perfect and easy to wear while shooting and OH SO CUTE!!!

~ I've been sleeping really good lately... love it!

Life is good... no, GREAT!

Dad you are the BEST! You are everything and more that a Dad should be! You love and support your kids, and we know it! You have always been there for me guiding me in the right direction and letting me make my own decisions. I wouldn't be where I am today without you and all you do! And even though we are an ocean apart you are still taking care of me! You are an inspiration to all.

I love that when us kids get together... we can talk about who is your favorite. I know I am... but Gavan, Mahina and Kawika are all convinced it is themselves. How do you do it?! When you hear this discussion, you just sit back relax and don't say a word, you're all smiles! But just between you and me... I know I'm you're favorite! *WINK WINK*

Graduation!

Stuart's Graduating! Lets Party!!!

Stuart will be walking on Saturday in his graduation ceremony! We decided to make a graduation announcement and party invite all in one... we sort of got a last minute start on it and most people won't be getting there's until later... So if you are lucky enough to be on island and want to come party with us, we're having a BBQ at Kakela Beach Park this Saturday the 6th around 12:00. If you can come let us know!
